A brand new American-bred Lavender for the American garden! Sensational Lavender was created in the USA with our climate and soil in mind. It is heat and humidity tolerant as well as winter hardy meaning it will come back each year with success. Producing silvery green foliage with fragrant deep purple flowers, it is excellent along edges, in the perennial garden, containers, or near the veggie garden to attract pollinators. This variety of lavender was awarded the Best New Lavender for 2021 at the Farwest Show in Oregon!

And because it doesn’t require a freeze like traditional lilacs, warm climate gardens can also enjoy the look and fragrance of lilac. Pruning is unnecessary on this winter hardy shrub.
