Kobold Liatris or also known as blazing star is regarded as the most spectacular spicata cultivar for the garden. It is well known for its unique spikes of flowers in deep purple. It's a little shorter than other types making it extremely versatile in flowerbeds and for container use. It's extremely garden reliable and very heat and drought tolerant. It will attract hummingbirds and butterflies galore throughout summertime when in full bloom. Liatris is also a popular cut flower for bouquets and arrangements!

A lilac that blooms in the summer? Yes! This Asian native produces clusters of fragrant lilac pink flowers throughout summer, just when you thought lilac season was over. It is also very compact, only growing 2’x2’, making it accessible for gardens of any size. And because it doesn’t require a freeze like traditional lilacs, warm climate gardens can also enjoy the look and fragrance of lilac. Pruning is unnecessary on this winter hardy shrub.

Minibeckia ‘Flame’ is the latest and greatest black eyed susan a gardener can grow. Rather than growing tall and spindly like other Rudbeckia, ‘Flame’ grows into a perfect 3’x’3 flowering machine that never flops over! Blooms start in midsummer and continue for months. Roselilies or Lotus lilies are some of the most beautiful and fullest oriental lilies you’ll set your eyes on! The unique collective term “Roselily” has recently been coined in reference to these exceptional Oriental lilies for a few reasons.
