Heucherella is a hybrid genus produced from a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella. From heuchera they gain the various bold leaf colorations and textures so commonly found in coral bells. While the tiarella portion adds deeper leaf lobes and serration, as well as their signature central leaf blotching. This perennial grows most vigorously and has the strongest colors when grown in partial shade (preferably afternoon shade). They're evergreen in areas with mild winters.
