Helianthus Autumn Gold is a vibrant and glowing perennial that is in full bloom with its showy yellow flowers from late summer till frost. It’s a great companion to fall mums and helps add tremendous color late in the season. It will have a shrub like appearance in spring and summer then it will become covered with masses of bright golden-yellow daisy-like flowers, each containing a little brown eye. They’re drought tolerant sun loving perennials that brighten up any landscape while being highly attractive to butterflies. Autumn Gold should not require staking and it does not reliably self-seed so, this plant should not be used for naturalizing.
